Beyoncé is launching a vegan meal plan that may hurt your pockets a little.

After going on a 22-day vegan diet with her husband Jay Z back in 2013, apparently the process and health benefit was enough for the superstar entertainer to want to create a business out of it. Now in partnership with nutritionist and excersise physiologist Marco Borges, Beyoncé will assist in motivating thousands to make better eating choices.

“I am so grateful that I took the challenge and credit Marco with leading by example. He is the most energetic person I know and it’s all because of his decision to live a healthy lifestyle,” Beyoncé said in a statement about the new partnership.  “He came up with a great program to get people motivated to make better nutritional choices. All you have to do is try.  If I can do it, anyone can.” (via E! News)

The downside to the vegan meal plan, however, is the price. For approximately $609.84, individuals will get 22 Days/66 meals total, which is 3 meals per day (breakfast, lunch, and dinner). This price does not include the shipping fee of $19.95. Although, the 22-day meal plan can be purchased in 5 Days and 7 Days increments, the price point will still be a bit too high for the average family. Especially, single mothers who want to live a healthier lifestyle, but can’t afford the vegan lifestyle due to raising a family.

 

But, if you have the dollars to spend, this looks like a great way to jump start a nutritional life. The dishes that come with the plan are made mostly of vegetables, beans and grain. These ingredients (along with excersise) may just give you a body like Bey!
