Well it looks like Britney will have to wait a little while longer. On Tuesday, June 24, a Los Angeles court commissioner delayed a trial to see whether or not the courts will continue to grant Mr. Spears full control of Britney’s finances.

The singer’s personal affairs and finances have been handled by her father for several months. If the health and mental stability of Ms. Spears shows a more positive note, the courts decision may turn for the better and return financial control back to the pop star.

The new trial date is set to July 31, 2008.
