CNN’s “Black in America” Scores Big admin Tuesday, July 29, 2008 The Script Last week, CNN’s premiere of “Black in America” put together by anchor and special correspondent Soliead O’Brien pulled in big ratings for the station. CNN enjoyed strong ratings late last week from its two-part documentary, “Black in America.” Thursday night’s two-hour finale averaged 2.6 million viewers between 9 p.m. and 11 p.m., Nielsen Media Research said Friday. The Soledad O’Brien-hosted special also improved upon Wednesday’s premiere, which averaged 2.1 million viewers.
