After blazing on the scene with the 1993 hit classic ‘Menace II Society’ followed by ‘Dead Presidents’ and then 2001’s ‘From Hell’, directors Allen and Albert Hughes are back with a new film ‘Book of Eli’ starring Oscar winner Denzel Washington.

Washington will portray a lone hero in a not-too-distant apocalyptic future who must fight across America to bring society the knowledge that could be the key to its redemption.

The Hughes brothers, who by the way are twins and 36, are coming back hard. After being out of sight for 7 years, they not only got Denzel as their leading man, but they also got Alcon Entertainment financing the film and Warner Bros. handling distribution.

Production for the ‘Book of Eli” begins in January 2009.
