According to various news reports, our gal Oprah Winfrey may be leaving ABC and taking her show over to her OWN network.

In 2011, Oprah’s contract ends with ABC. Some people speculate that Oprah’s network will include the popular daytime talkshow, the Oprah Winfrey Show, along with other specialized programming. “We’re talking now about what the presence will be and what kind of programming she would be involved in directly. But this is her chapter 2, and building the OWN brand online and on-air is… a core mission for her,” said Discovery CEO David Zaslav on a conference call.

But Harpo’s spokesperson Lisa Halliday says that Zaslav’s comments are “premature” and that O has not made the final decision to leave her show in syndication or not.
