After an August 2005 incident at a Pre-MTV Awards party thrown by Kanye West, Suge Knight was shot and is now seeking payback tallying over $135,000.

The shooting incident occurred at the Shore nightclub in Miami. In the initial court case, eyewitnesses say there were at least six shots fired in the club…during at which time Suge was hit in the right leg. Orginally, some speculated that Suge shot himself. No assailant was ever apprehended or prosecuted for the assault.

On Oct. 30, Suge filed charges against Kanye West claiming that West is liable because a patron was allowed in the club, past security, with a deadly weapon. Suge is seeking damages for a lost earring worth $135,000, medical expenses, and mental anguish for the “loss of use and enjoyment of the earring.”

Although Suge is still under bankruptcy protection, the courts will allow him to receive any financial awards determined from this lawsuit. (Photo Source)
