Actor/Rapper Nick Cannon, who is no stranger to Nickelodeon, will now be making even bigger moves with the network. Cannon has signed a two-year deal with Nickelodeon to become the chairman and development consultant for TEENick network.

The creation of TEENick is Nickelodeon’s effort to rebrand their current 24-hour network for teens, The N. In his position, Cannon will create, star in, produce, and direct original programming (TV movies, series, specials) for the TEENick network.

This should definitely be a good fit for Cannon considering that Nickelodeon is where he got his start as a writer and a series regular for All That. He later starred in, directed and was executive producer for his own show, The Nick Cannon Show, for the network.
