Spike Lee, who’s no stranger to basketball, has once again decided to use his exceptional filmmaking skills to portray the sport. Having already, the 1998 film “He Got Game” in which he cast NBA star Ray Allen and some of Michael Jordan’s most famous commercials under his belt, Lee has now added a documentary of one game in the life of one of the NBA’s best, Kobe Bryant.

The documentary, “Kobe Doin’ Work”, is comprised of Lee’s work through the use of 30 cameras and a wireless body mic to capture Bryant’s every move and words during the Lakers April 13th game against the San Antonio Spurs. Bryant’s commentary for the film details his thought process behind every move he makes.
Kobe Doin Work” premiered last week at the Tribeca Film Festival and is scheduled to air on ESPN May 16th @ 8p.m. (EST).
