Raphael Young’s Fall 2009 collection will be available at Seven New York on July 30 and on Net-a-Porter.com. This new collection is very futuristic and bold with metal details and architectural heels. While his collection may not be economically feasible for most of us (prices range from $384 to $731), the designs were great and we’re sure you will be able to find the comparable knock-offs. 🙂

A little tidbit for the aspiring designers…he crafted the collection using traditional techniques that are now rarely still practiced. The methods involve carving all the lasts and heels from wooden blocks and assembling the prototypes by hand.
