Foul on the Play: Larry Johnson Suspensed Due to Twitter Comment admin Tuesday, November 10, 2009 The Game How many times do we have to tell you all that Twitter is deadly? It is killing careers daily. This week’s victim is Kansas City Chiefs running back, Larry Johnson. Negative comments about the Chief’s Head Coach, Todd Haley, and several gay slurs landed Johnson in the suspension seat. The one-time acclaimed best running back in the NFL has seen several unfortunate incidents in the last few years (i.e. benched last year for rule violations, received 2 years probation for allegedly throwing a drink on a girl and pushing another woman, etc). The details of Johnson’s suspension has not been released. But as Coach Haley states, “I will say that how our players conduct themselves with the media and through the media is very important to myself as a head coach, and to the Chiefs as an organization.” We’re sure the punishment will be harsh. Poor Johnson. (Source)(Pic Source)
