Multi-talented Inspiration admin Monday, November 23, 2009 The Runway st1\:*{behavior:url(#ieooui) } As if her new album debuting on Dec 15 (The Element of Freedom), a tour coming up in March, producing a TV show, a film with Miramax and a Broadway show (Fela) …weren’t enough. The multi-talented Alicia Keys has partnered with designer Gisèle Theriault and on Monday will introduce a jewelry collection called The Barber’s Daughters. The official launch is set for fall 2010 launch, but the collection will be available for a couple of days to help promote a buzz. “I fell in love with the individuality of the pieces, but more than that, the words that were written on them really resonated with the songwriter in me,” said Keys. “I knew at that moment, for the first time, that through a whole other medium I would be able to spread inspiration and that’s what got me started.” The collection is comprised of sterling silver and gemstone pieces inscribed with poetry and prayers of Masaru Emoto. Check out thebarbersdaughters.com for the line of necklaces that retail from $85 to $2,500. (Source)
