Fashion for Haiti admin Thursday, February 11, 2010 The Runway The Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA), who created the “Fashion for America” T-shirt following 9/11, has created a “Fashion For Haiti” T-shirt. Big name designers Diane von Furstenberg, Ralph Lauren, Tory Burch, Tommy Hilfiger and others are promoting the $25 tee. Moreover, Beyonce has been named as the official face of this limited-edition tee. As the spokesperson for “Fashion For Haiti,” Beyoncé has a message for all fashionistas: “Join me and the fashion industry by buying and wearing the Fashion for Haiti T-shirt. Together we can send a message of hope by raising much needed funds for the people of Haiti.” The CFDA raised $2 million dollars for the Twin Towers Fund and will donate proceeds from this collection to the Clinton Bush Haiti Fund.
