2010 Top 100 Tours admin Wednesday, July 14, 2010 The Studio New data has been released as to who made the list of Top 100 Tours in 2010. The list is based on data gathered in North America in regards to venues’ ticket sales during the first six months of the year. According to Pollstar’s Mid Year Business Analysis, here’s a little insight on who made the cut. Bon Jovi comes in at #1 with 38 shows, more than a half million ticket sales, and a total gross of $52.8 million. Paul McCartney who played only seven shows in five markets, but sold 243,921 tickets for a total gross of $31.6 million claimed the #4 spot. The Black Eyed Peas and Jay-Z are the only Hip-Hop acts on the list. The Black Eyed Peas are posted at #6 after pulling in $29.5 million while Jay-Z sits at #12 with $22.5 million earned. Alicia Keys grabbed the 27th spot with $11.7 million earned. Mariah Carey, earning $9.1 million claimed #36. On the worldwide level… AC/DC is at the top of the list worldwide after raking in $177.5 million. The Black Eyed Peas secured the #5 spot with $48.4 million earned.
