Set to start filming soon in Nova Scotia, Paula Patton’s new film ‘Jumping The Broom’ will take on the tale of two black families clashing in this wedding-inspired comedy.

The thrill of the film is that the two families, whom are from opposite sides of the social-economic spectrum, will meet for the first time at a wedding in Martha’s Vineyard. In addition to Patton, who plays the daughter of Angela Bassett (heiress and pillar of the Washington elite), Romeo Miller, Laz Alonzo, and Loretta Devine also star in the film.
Producers of the film include Tracey Edmonds, Bishop T.D. Jakes, Curtis Wallace, Glendon Palmer, and Elizabeth Hunter.
