When I first read the headline on CNN‘s website, I immediately thought a stripper exotic dancer finally got creative! But quickly I noticed that it wasn’t a dancer. It was Nic Ramos, a student at the University of Colorado.  As a statement to school officials that tuition is entirely too high, Ramos decided to collect his $1 bills and use them to pay his college tuition in full ($14,300). Although he could have had a cashier’s check printed at his bank, Wells Fargo, he took an alternative route which would cause a bit of frustration on the financial aid clerks. Check out the video:

I do agree with the young man. Tuition is too high! Thank goodness for financial aid because I don’t think I would have made it through without it. But interestingly enough, I do wonder if exotic dancers pay or have paid their tuition with one dollar bills.

If you are a dancer or former dancer, let us know. Also, what is the largest amount (in $1’s) you ever paid out towards a degree, real estate license, etc?
