Put’em On Blast Girl! Mary Harvey Set the Record Straight About Steve Harvey Ms. Bels Sunday, January 23, 2011 $1 Rumors, Credits & Debits, The Receipt A woman scorned…is a mutha! And the ex-wife of comedian and radio talk-show host Steve Harvey, Mary Harvey is no exception! The rift between Mary and Steve has been going on for several years now ever since he divorced her for his jumpoff at the time, Marjorie. I personally haven’t been keeping up with the fued, but of course, when there’s an interesting story which involves money or lawsuits, STACKS Magazine will report on it. 🙂 Mary Harvey is hurting [you can tell by the videos I spotted at WorldStarHipHop] and she’s doing what she can to tell her side of the story. As a woman, I can’t blame her. I’m sure the motivation behind these videos is that she’s not a celebrity. Steve Harvey is the celebrity who has access to media outlets and national coverage. So in order for her side of the saga to get out to the public, she has no choice but to make a home video and explain some things regarding their relationship and how she was left with the short end of the stick. Video #1 – Mary Speaks On Her Emotional State & How Steve Cheating On Her For 15 Years Video #2 – Mary Says Steve Blames Her For Screwing Up His Chance of Getting a Show on the Oprah’s Network & How He Left Her With No Money All I can say is …this is SCANDALOUS! Wow Steve did you really cheat on the lady for 15 years? Did you really have her son Winton turn against her? Are you really suing her now for messing up your opportunity to get a show on the OWN network? SMH! Hopefully, these things are not true. A lot of people are fond of Steve. He has a huge fan base. Although I myself did not read his New York best seller, Act Like A Lady, Think Like A Man: What Men Really Think About Love, Relationships, Intimacy, and Commitment, many of my personal friends read it. I didn’t find a purpose in reading it because the same stuff I heard he says are the same things I learned from my homeboys, cousins, and uncles growing up. So Steve was not about to teach me anything new. I’m not throwing shade. I’m just saying… But this is a sad story in that she did help him get to where he is today. For him to now discredit all the things that she did or that they built together to make him successful is not a true sign of a stand-up type of guy. Well, I’m sure this saga will continue and more information will surface. Marriage is tough. Hopefully, Mary will finally get what it is she is seeking to get out of this and move on with her life emotionally and financially stable.
