After recently playing the Bunny Brenda on NBC’s short-lived television series, Playboy Club, singer-actress Naturi Naughton has already moved on to the next one. Her next career move will send her to Lifetime as a cast member in the network’s upcoming drama series The Client List. The show is based on the 2010 Lifetime original movie of the same name and will keep its star, Jennifer Love Hewitt. Here’s the premise for the show…

The series will follow Riley (Hewitt), who is forced to work in a day spa in a local town after being left in financial debt after her husband abandons her and her children. She quickly realizes that the spa gives much more than massages, but must partner with the parlor’s owner in order to keep food on the table. While helping to run the business, she struggles to discretely balance two lives – a single mother who must provide for her family and a strong businesswoman working in a unique and frowned-upon business.

     Naughton will take on the role of Kendra, a masseuse at the parlor. The Client List will premiere in 2012.
