EP Review: Kameron Corvet – F_CK Love admin Tuesday, March 27, 2012 The Studio Kameron Corvet is one of those artists that you have to enjoy. Sad part about this, though, is that I just discovered his music. Serving as the opening act at a recent Bilal show in Atlanta, he made a case for himself and his music. Once I saw the show, I had to buy his music. After purchasing my copy of F_CK Love EP, I knew I was in for a treat. From start to finish, this EP does not disappoint. “Going Under” is that jam dedicated to trysts below the waist. “Legend Of The Fall” speaks to a female that has her own issues to overcome. “Good Habits” allows Korvet to croon over solitary guitar licks. From the first half of the album, the listener can hear the quality, clarity, and dedication to the craft of soul music. The other songs don’t let up, either. “Sign Your Name” is a Terrence Trent D’Arby dedication that goes right instead of wrong. With “Snap Out Of It”, he goes in on the pendulum swinging mentality of a lover. “I Miss The Way” reserves itself to all the crazy things he misses about his woman. By the time this EP ends with the wondrous “F_CK Love”, there is very little wondering about the talent that is Kameron Corvet. Kameron Corvet’s only issue is that his buzz isn’t big enough. With F_CK Love, he proves that he can make great music. He produces a lot of his own stuff. He writes his own songs. He plays guitar. He can do a lot of things to make his music self-sustaining. Now, he just needs a fan base that will propel him to higher levels of career satisfaction. Review written by Mark A. Harris, contributing writer for STACKS Magazine.
