The 2012 Essence Music Festival went underway this weekend.  The city of New Orleans welcomed thousands and thousands of Essence-goers to a fun-filled weekend of parties, food, drinks, and concerts.  The performances, which is known as the 4-day highlight of the festival, didn’t dissapoint this year.  Check out some of the concert pics from #EMF2012:
