Cedric the Entertainer’s ‘Soul Man’ Greenlighted For a Second Season janda Tuesday, November 20, 2012 The Script, Tune In It looks as if Cedric the Entertainer’s tactics of reaching out to fans in an effort to keep his show, Soul Man, on the boob tube worked in his favor. Via Twitter the comedian-actor announced that the show has been ordered for a second season. Soul Man, which stars Cedric the Entertainer and Niecy Nash debuted in June of this year on TV Land. The show became the network’s second highest rated series debut among adults 25-54 with 1.9 million viewers. However, after 12 episodes, the show’s viewership had dropped significantly with the season finale drawing only 992,000 viewers. Hopefully this time around they’ll beef it up and give the people the sitcom comedy they really want. Sometimes second chances are everything, just maybe! What do you think? Will you be watching?
