While the yay-sayers and the nay-sayers are busy having their say about Quentin Tarantino’s new film Django Unchained, when it comes to the business of topping the box office, it looks as if the film will speak for itself.

 

No matter what was said about the film leading up to it opening on Christmas Day, nothing seemed to curve the curiosity of moviegoers considering the film stacked a whopping 15.5 million on that day alone.

 

With heavyweights Jamie Foxx, Leonardo DiCaprio and Kerry Washington starring in the film and a storyline that follows a black slave’s journey to save his love continuing to spark interest, it’ll be interesting to see what the film grosses by the end of its opening weekend.
