Some rap critics have debated his lyrical content (or lack thereof) and are baffled by his mass appeal. But, whether you like him or not, Wiz Khalifa has proven to be one of the most financially valuable young entertainers out. After being listed on Forbes’ “Hip Hop Cash Kings” list two years in a row, the Pittsburgh rapper $20 million plus worth is effortlessly increasing.  To no surprise, Wiz has landed again on Forbes’ ’30 Under 30′ list of young stars making major moves. This is too Wiz’s second time making the cut.

 

How did Wiz Khalifa gain such a strong fan base that affords him to make great financial strides in music?  Well, it could be his committment to being a marijuana smoker. As many states are now legalizing the drug, people and government can tell you that there are a helluva lot of weed smokers out there.  This movement is mainly responsible for Khalifa’s catapult into superstar status.  Not to take away from his talent though, the rapper is simple but very creative with his production choices and marketing tactics.  He clearly understands his fanbase and knows what they want to hear from him.

 

So what’s next for Wiz?? International stardom.  He’s ready to take his movement worldwide.  With a new baby on the way and pending marriage to longtime fiancee Amber Rose, Wiz Khalifa knows it is time for him to take his career to the next level…and get that money.
