Just when you think DMX’s life can’t possibly get no crazier…he appears on the OWN Network’s “Iyanla: Fix My Life”.

 

New York rapper DMX made a note-worthy appearance on the show this past Saturday. In what was suppose to be a civilized conversation about his past relationship with his estranged mother and constant bouts with drug abuse, dramatically turned for the worse. The first episode to kick off the new season of ‘Fix My Life’ showed the deep rooted inner battle DMX has with himself. Iyanla tried her best to try to dig deeper into his issues, but the emcee did not budge. As a surprise, DMX’s oldest child made an appearance in hopes of rekindling a father/son relationship. Unfortunately, the son stated that he would only open up the lines of communication if DMX remains sober. DMX couldn’t make that promise and believed that their relationship must be based on unconditional love.

After the sit down, DMX apparently felt some kind of way about the whole ordeal. Thus, he met with JET Magazine and expressed his views on Iyanla’s manipulation, his son’s appearance, and his disgust of the entire episode. Peep that interview below:

 

 

 

 

Many people took to social networks to voice their opinions regarding DMX’s health and episode. Drug abuse is a sickness. As much as we may think he could kick the habit at any moment, this is not true. All of his fans across the world can only do is pray for his wellness and let him live his own life. Hopefully, this appearance with Iyanla didn’t set him back and cause any more hurt than he’s already endured.
