Live streaming has been available for several years, but mainly through third party applications. Now, one major network will begin streaming their television programs straight to iPhones. According to the Wallstreet Journal, ABC will be the first network to offer live streaming to public TV stations. The network is currently streaming The View in New York and Philadelphia. It is not known if other major cities will evetually be added. For now, local residents can have the luxury to go about their daily routine and still be able to catch their favorite ABC television programs.
