The Connect: FREE Business Conference by Atlanta City Council (June 20, 9AM-3PM) Ms. Bels Friday, June 7, 2013 The Connect Here’s a great opportunity for Atlanta area business owners…and it’s FREE! Atlanta City Council President Ceasar C. Mitchell and the U.S. General Services Administration are hosting an all day business conference for government and private sector buyers. This event will give business owners the opportunity to learn ways to grow and market their business. Business and government experts will teach attendees the ins and outs of procurement and alternate funding. Also, there will be discussions of any future business opportunities. In 2012, the conference was attended by Georgia Power Company, Atlanta City Council, DeKalb County, Environmental Protection Agency, Housing and Urban Development, Veterans Administration Medical Center, Georgia State University Small Business Development Center, The Army Corps of Engineers, Georgia African-American Chamber of Commerce, and many others.
