The last time we heard about Mr. “First Name, Last Name” J-Money was on not-so-happy terms. See, J-Money (born Eddie Miller) was shot six times in Atlanta in 2012 during the taping of his “Hold Up” video. In the parking lot of Club La Cura on Metropolitan Pkwy, the rapper was hot by two black males driving in a white Ford Crown Victoria. After the incident, he was reported in stable conditions and remained hospitalized at Grady Memorial Hospital. Luckily, he survived. With the suffering he’s gone through for months, while in a wheelchair, the once thriving rapper is back and has released his first project since the incident.
His new mixtape “Medication” is perfectly named. Hosted by DJ Scream and DJ Holiday, the CD includes 18 tracks featuring Migos, Rich Homie Quan, 2 Chainz, Yung Booke, and more.
