A Bit Much: Record Label Offers Amanda Bynes $200K Signing Bonus; Says She Can Make Better Music Than Drake Ms. Bels Tuesday, July 16, 2013 The Studio Well, it looks like Miley Cyrus won’t be the only one entering the world of hip hop music. Bad girl Amanda Bynes is set to get her feet wet in urban music too. Daniel Herman, of Chinga Chang Records, recently told RadarOnline that Ms. Bynes has agreed to accept their offer of a record deal. The two finally came into an agreement after Bynes ditched the idea the first time around. The creative direction that Herman wanted to go in didn’t quite make the cut in Bynes mind. But, after plenty begging and a revision to the contract, Bynes has agreed to be involved in the project. Herman has gone on record to also state that he believe Bynes have what it takes to produce better music than YMCMB’s golden child, Drake. “I would have to be an idiot to not do everything in my power to create a classic album with her. It’s not about being more gangster than Drake, it’s about representing the culture and having the ability to make better music than him,” Daniel told Radar. “She’s got that. I just want her to let me have the opportunity to prove it to the world.” The current deal comes with a $200,000 signing bonus along with creative control and a 50/50 split of the gross sales from the album. Surprisingly, one of the first artist Bynes wants to collaborate with is Waka Flocka Flame.
