Yo Gotti Confirms “No Deal” w/ T.I.’s Grand Hustle; Says “They’re Just Partnas” Ms. Bels Tuesday, July 2, 2013 The Receipt, The Studio Last week, we reported that T.I. confirmed that Yo Gotti was now affiliated (or signed) to Grand Hustle/Hustle Gang imprint. The revelation sparked interest from many blog sites and fans who were a little bit confused about the relationship/deal in the first place. Although, the two rappers have held a friendship for years, Gotti is a self-made man as is Tip so it didn’t make much sense for the Memphis rapper to be signed to him. Maybe the affiliation was going to be more like a management type connection. This is something that Tip could very well be successful at given Gotti is now in the major leagues. He definitely could use some mentorship from a fellow artist that has similar life experiences and was able to use music to branch off into other lucrative business ventures. Anyway, Yo Gotti disputed the claims and reveals that there is no such deal in place with Grand Hustle. His Cocaine Muzik Group signed an estimated $4 million deal with L.A. Reid and Epic Records. He affirms that their friendship is in act and that he looks up to T.I. like a big brother. Watch as he discusses the confusion with Miss Info: Well, that’s good to know that ain’t no love lost and that they are cool as a fan. Yo Gotti will be releasing his second studio album I AM sometime in November.
