This time, he has launched a makeup line called “Marc Jacobs Beauty”. Marc Jacobs Beauty will consist of over 122 products ranging from $18 to $78. The beauty products will reflect the sleekness and ultra-shine qualities that were evident on a table he has in his home. He said that this coffee table was the inspiration for the product line. Mr. Jacobs says he was drawn to the combination of the table’s shape and finish, making it at once strong and soft. He also appreciated the simplicity of design. “When you have something that has that kind of finish that’s so particular and beautiful, it doesn’t need to be ornate,” he said.
