Child Genius Enters College At Age Eleven Ms. Bels Thursday, August 29, 2013 The Receipt A new school term has started, and while many struggle, little 11 year old Carson Heuy-You is using his smarts to excel. This pint-size genius hails from Dallas, Texas and has already enrolled in college. Carson attends Texas Christian University and is studying courses to one day become a scientist. According to news reports, Carson shocked his family and local educators after passing tests that landed him in the eight grade at only 5 years old. He was accepted into T.C.U. after receiving a 4.0 highschool GPA and a SAT score of 1770…at the young age of 10. While his parents say that he remains humble by still opting to do childhood things like ride bikes and play video games, Carson does have a fondness for science and hopes to earn a degree in quantum physics. His genius is so profound that he started reading books while still being potty trained. Also, unlike other kids who have trouble solving basic math problems, Carson was figuring out math by age 3. It must be something in the Heuy-You blood line because little Carson isn’t the only genius in the family. Apparently, his younger brother Cannan is learning way beyond his time as well. Cannan is only 7 years old and is already studying on a eight grade level.
