Over the weekend, Miami Heat star Lebron James and his longtime girlfriend, Savannah Brinson, finally make their union official. The two said their vows in a very private wedding in San Diego, California. According to the Associated Press, the wedding was very “posh”…as expected for one of the NBA’s all-star multi-million dollar players.

 

With guests dining on a five-course dinner, prefaced by plenty of appetizers and all done under incredibly tight security, the Miami Heat star married his longtime partner Savannah Brinson on Saturday night at a posh resort in San Diego. Guests had their phones taken away for the ceremony and reception in an effort to ensure that no photos or details leaked out.

 

“A first-class affair,” said one of the guests, who spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity Sunday because the couple had yet to reveal any details of the event themselves. “Ceremony was short and sweet.”

 

Of course, a who’s who list of people were in attendance. Dwyane Wade and GF Gabrielle Union, Chris Bosh and wife Adrienne, coach Erik Spoelstra, James’ manager Maverick Carter, and other notable guests. No word is confirmed on if Jay-Z and wife Beyoncé was in attendance. But, a few people stated on Twitter that Beyoncé performed a song for the couple. How cute is that?! 🙂

 

Savannah and Lebron has been together since high school. The two live in Miami, Florida but were raised in Akron, Ohio. Maybe the decision to have their wedding way over in California was to keep the media/press out their business…if not, at least until they said “I do.”
