And Kanye West did just that (10 x’s over ) for his boo Kim Kardashian. On Kim’s 33rd birthday, Kanye took the opportunity to finally proposed to the mother of his child. The beautiful moment took place in San Franciso’s AT&T Park stadium. Kanye planned the whole experience out from the 50-piece orchestra to the “Pleeease Marrry Meee!!!” on the stadium’s big projector screen. Kim was serenaded to the live rendition of Lana Del Ray’s “Young and Beautiful” and Kanye and Keri Hilson’s joint “Knock You Down”, which features Ne-Yo. Once she said YES, her family flew out the dug out to congratulate the happy couple. Kim soon released a picture of her gigantic 15-carat Lorraine Schwartz beauty. So, really how much would a ring of that size cost Kanye? Forbes is reporting that Kanye’s ring, although 5-carats smaller than the ring Kris Humphries purchased, it may actually cost more. The reason for this is the clarity of the diamond. Humphries paid an estimated $2 million dollars for Kim’s 20-carat ring. But the fact that Kim’s current Lorraine Schwartz original is being described as “practically flawless”, leaves many to speculate that Kanye blew WAY more bands. “For a frame of reference, a 10 carat, D, Internally Flawless diamond cost about five times more than a 10 carat I, VS1,” said Joe Murawski of Joden World Resources, an antique and estate jeweler. We’re guessing Kanye spent around $3 million on the ring. Sheesh! That’s a lot of money. People need to remember that, when it comes to diamonds, it is not always about the size.
