Nelly Drops “M.O.” w/features from T.I., 2 Chainz, Nicki Minaj & More + “Ciroc & Simply Lemonade” feat. Yo Gotti Ms. Bels Tuesday, October 1, 2013 The Studio St. Louis rapper and businessman Nelly released his seventh studio album today. It has been close to three years since the “Country Grammar” artist dropped his last project (“5.0”). Nelly has released two singles earlier this year (“Hey Porsche” and “Get Like Me”) to luke warm reviews. However, critics and fans are glad to see that he’s continuing his music career. It says a lot for an artist to be on his seventh album. Not every one get an opportunity to do that. Nelly recently gave an explanation on what this album represents for him. “First of all, I’m excited that I get a chance to do a seventh album. [Laughs.] Also, being 14 years later [since Country Grammar was released], being able to do a lot of great things in 14 years and represent somewhere that a lot of people don’t get to represent, especially in the music business and definitely in the hip-hop game. I stand for the Midwest. That’s why the album’s titled M.O., ‘cause I’m still holding it down like that. My friends and family all call me Mo, so it’s kind of like really representing where I’m from and me at the same time.” (Complex) On M.O., Nelly has enlisted a lot of big names to help him achieve the success he was had. Besides “Get Like Me” which features Nicki Minaj and Pharrell, his close friend T.I. is on the album. Also, Future, Snoop Dogg, Daley, Trey Songz, 2 Chainz, Fabolous, Yo Gotti, and a few others. The album contains 12 tracks with an additional 4 on the deluxe version. Production credits on the project goes to Pharrell, Detail, Justice League, and John SK McGee to name a few.
