Is there trouble at Def Jam?  From the looks of an angry tweet blasted out Tuesday, some sh-t going on in corporate that’s not setting too well the Snowman. Are they holding up his album? Are they pressuring him to release the music when it’s not ready?  Jeezy is known to take his precious time when constructing classic albums.  So, the two-year hold up on his fifth studio album doesn’t surprise many. But apparently there’s some friction between Jeezy and the label and it’s not looking good.

To hold us over until the album is released, Jeezy has released some new music, “Foul Play.”   The Drumma Boy-produced track is dark in emotion, but still is heavy on the 808s and capable of satisfying his loyal fan base. A couple months ago, however, he released “In My Head” (produced Childish Major). It was welcomed with mediocore reviews, which is strange because “In My Head” is more club-worthy than this new joint.

Anyway, CTE will be releasing another mixtape #ItsThaWorld Vol. 2 on November 27th. We can assume that these songs will be featured on the project. As to when we will get his fifith album, who knows. This will just have to suffice until that time comes.

In more CTE news, YG release a new joint called “Birfday” a few days ago. His first studio album My Krazy Life was expected to come this month. But, the label has decided to push it back to 2014.  YG enlists the help of his boss Jeezy on this new track. “Birfday” play up the notion of living everyday like its your birthday.  The beat was produced by Tony Rey. The trippy part of song is YG’s “Migos-style” flow as he spits, “Giuseppe, Giuseppe, Giuseppe, Giuseppe, Giuseppe,” in his last verse.
