NBA: Magic Shock The Clippers + Pacers Beat Bulls, Remains Undefeated admin Friday, November 8, 2013 Scoreboard, The Game The Orlando Magic shocked the Los Angeles Clippers with a 98-90 home win. Nikola Vucevic had 30 points and 21 rebounds for the Magic, his second career 30/20 game. The Magic had 5 players in double figures and their bench outscored the Clippers bench 34 to 16. The Clippers were led by Blake Griffin 23 points a team high. He also had 13 rebounds and star player Chris Paul recorded a double-double with 18 points, 10 assists and 5 rebounds. The Magic improve to 3-2 and the Clippers are now 3-2 also. The Magic have won three in a row after starting the season 0-2. The Magic are one of the youngest teams in the league. They have plenty of depth and will be a deeper team once Forwards Tobias Harris and Glen “Big Baby” Davis returns. If the Magic can stay healthy, they have a bright future and could be in the playoff race this season. The Indiana Pacers defeated the Chicago Bulls 97-80 and improve to 5-0 their best start in NBA history. The Pacers were led by All-Star Paul George 21 points, and David West had double-double with 17 points and 13 rebounds. Roy Hibbert had a impressive 5 block shots and the Pacers had 5 players in double-figures. Bulls star Derrick Rose and All-Star Luol Deng led the Bulls with 17 points each and they combined to shoot a horrible 12-33 from the field. Rose has started the season slow returning from injury. Rose has yet to shoot over 40% from the field and score more than 18 points this season. The Pacers look better defensively and have a deeper bench this season. The Pacers are looking like the team to beat in the Eastern Conference so far this year. Although, the Pacers did lose to the Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference Finals last season, once former All-Star Danny Granger returns, they can become even better.
