ScoreBoard: FSU Beats Miami with Ease, 41-14 admin Monday, November 4, 2013 Scoreboard, The Game The No.3 Florida State Seminoles defeated the No.7 Miami Hurricanes, 41-14. The Noles handed the Canes their first loss of the season. The Canes are 7-1 and FSU is now 8-0. Noles Quarterback Jameis Winston threw for 325 yards, 1 touchdown and 2 interceptions. The Noles were led by Running Backs Devonta Freeman and James Wilder Jr, both had two touchdowns a piece. The Canes were only down 21-14 at halftime, they never scored again and FSU went on to score 20 points in the second half. Canes Quarterback Stephen Morris threw for 192 yards, 2 touchdowns and 2 interceptions. This is the second top 10 team FSU has beaten this season. With two conference games remaining, they most likely will play in the ACC Championship game. FSU is currently ranked No.3 in the BCS standings. If they can make it to the No.2 spot, they can play in the BCS National Championship game. The way FSU is playing they possibly could win their first Championship since 1999.
