Rapper KayO Redd Dies of Suspected Suicide; Waka Flocka, Mom Debra Antney In Disbelief

The younger brother of rapper Waka Flocka Flame died yesterday of unknown causes.  Last night, Waka tweeted that his brother took his own life. The tweet was later removed. Shortly after, their mother Debra Antney shared her sentiments via Twitter also.

“I just lost another son.”

The news come as a huge shock to KayO’s family and friends. Fans of the Brick Squad Monopoly label are still in disbelief that a young man with such a promising future take his own life.  There’s been two rumors floating that he was murdered. The other is of the suicide. No one really knows at this point what truly happened.

An investigation into his death is still ongoing. We’ll keep you updated on any new developments.

KayO Redd had been following in his big brothers footsteps in the rap game. He released YNS: The Rise of the Sykho Soulja (2011) and YNS 2: Full Time Grind (2012). His most recent accomplishment was securing a radio spot on Be100 radio. Be100 is the brainchild of his mother, Deb Antney.
