Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce returned to Boston for the first time since they were traded to the Nets. They both scored 6 points each and Pierce was a disappointing 2 out of 10 from the field. Knicks Center, Tyson Chandler, posted a double-double with 13 points and 14 rebounds, while Knicks Point Guard Raymond Felton had 20 points and 5 assists. Knicks Guards J.R. Smith came off the bench to score 16 points, and Tim Hardaway Jr. scored 18 points off the bench. Pau Gasol had a double-double for the Lakers with 20 points and 13 rebounds and Guard Jodie Meeks led the Lakers with 24 points. The Knicks improve to 17-27 and the Lakers are now 16-29 and have lost 4 games in a row.
