The 21 year old rapper has been buzzing on the low for a minute. But, it’s been most recently that co-signs from Drake, Kanye West, Wale, Rich Homie Quan, and others has taken Thugger’s status up a huge notch. If you are wondering what to blame, point the finger at his street hit “Stoner”. The popularity of the song quickly brought him to the forefront. Now, Young Thug is being pursued by other labels, which is nothing out the norm for hot new talent. Currently signed to Gucci Mane’s 1017 Brick Squad Records, in the interview he mentions who he’s been fielding offers from. Future, he says, is one that put a seven-figure offer on the table. “It’s not happening yet, I don’t know if it’s gonna happen. Future said he wants to give me $1.5 million so you know how that goes. It just hasn’t happened yet.” In addition to Future’s Freebandz offer, it is even rumored that Kanye West is interested in signing Young Thug. Young Thug came out the gate with two hits. The second being the leaked “Danny Glover”, which has recently produced a remix by Nicki Minaj (she kills it…by the way). The songs and his big “stoner” movement, to many, have been contagious.
