MUSIC: Jay Z & Jay Electronica’s “We Made It” Remix admin Monday, March 24, 2014 The Studio OK, this is a sign that Jay Electronica will continue his rap career and that he may release a full album soon. What great news for his fans. In the same breathe (and track), Roc Nation’s head honcho Jay Z take time out to come at Drake’s throat. In the original “We Made It” song by Soulja Boy and Drake, Drizzy offers his two cents on his dislike of Jigga Man’s art references on his album. Drake recently told this to Rolling Stone during an exclusive interview with the magazine. “It’s like Hov can’t drop bars these days without at least four art references. I would love to collect at some point, but I think the whole rap/art world thing is getting kind of corny.” Well, as much as the public may want to believe that he isn’t connected to the streets, Jay Z reminds us all that he stay abreast to what’s being said about him. Thus, in the Roc Nation version of “We Made It”, Jay Z takes shots back at Drake. “I can’t be rated, damn Hov stunt on them haters / Sorry Mr Drizzy for so much art talk, silly me rappin’ ’bout sh-t that I really bought.” Okay Drizzy…what you got to say now? LOL Check out their remix below:
