This special event honored local and national individuals who has impacted their careers, industry, and the people around them. This year’s ceremony was hosted by comedian Rodney Perry and actress Kendra C. Johnson. Those honored were Joe Louis Reliford (World’s Youngest Pro Baseball Player), Jonathan Babineaux (ATL Falcons player), Sugar Shane Mosely (boxer), Cameo (music group), Elisabeth Omilami (actress/activist), Shanti Das (entrepreneur), Madeline Nelson (Sony Music VP). The Lifetime Achievement Award (and most special awardee for the night) was presented to Jim Kelly, NFL Hall of Famer and former Buffalo Bills Quarterback. Due to this ocassion being titled the “Legendary Awards”, STACKS Magazine took to the meet-and-greet area to find out exactly what being “legendary” truly is. Our on-site media reporter, Bianca Hawkins, had the opportunity to learn first hand the definition of being “legendary” from Q.
