According to reports, Chipotle recently sued Ocean for breaching an agreement involving his talents used in an ad campaign. The food chain requested that he pay back $212,500 in advance money. The singer had signed on to create a song for a promotional ad about responsible farming along with the restaurant. But, Ocean’s lawyers said that the star did not know that he had to rep Chipotle’s logo as part of the ad. In their initial meeting, Ocean’s lawyer stated, ” when Frank was asked to participate in this project, Chipotle’s representatives told him that the thrust of the campaign was to promote responsible farming. There was no Chipotle reference or logo in the initial presentation, and Chipotle told Frank that was an intentional element of the campaign.” On Monday, Ocean cut the nonsense short by writing Chipotle a check for $212,500. But on the check, he also wrote “F–k Off” to show his disgust with the company and lawsuit.
