Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson is making a comeback yall! Yep, he was spotted this week training in Canada with the Montreal Alouettes. Although the CFL is no where in comparison to the NFL when it comes to salaries, the sign-on will definitely put that spark into a superb athlete who truly loves the game.

According to reports, the CFL’s salary cap is $4.4 million per team. The average salary for football players is $85,000. Johnson has seen millions of dollars ten-fold throughout his career. So, the question is…will the CFL’s proposed salary be enough for Miami-born wide-receiver? Of course it will. Johnson himself explained how it’s his love of football that has him eager to play again, not the money.

“I don’t even need a check,” Johnson said. “Didn’t I give it all away for 12 years straight? Think about it. Did I ever care about money when I played throughout my career? Still don’t. I want to have fun. I want to enjoy the game. That’s it.”

During a three day mini-camp, Johnson showed Alouettes’ coaches that he still got it. His route game was on point. It is said that the CFL is very passing-friendly, unlike the NFL. And under Canadian rules, receivers can’t be blocked or jammed unless their within the yard of the line of scrimmage. (USA Today)

DO YOU THINK CHAD JOHNSON CAN MAKE HIS WAY BACK TO THE NFL THROUGH THE CFL?

Yes, not just because im a Chad Johnson fan but because he still got great speed, hands, and still hits the routes as quick. He may be a bit to old to NFL coaches, but i think he’s still got years left giving an opportunity. Look at Steve Smith!
