Marsha-Ambrosius-Fvck-Love-EP

Marsha Ambrosius has pretty much established herself as an act with a very strong following. This may have been unprecedented for her in Floetry. However, she has carved her own lane. Now that the lane carving is done with, she is releasing music for her listeners while she tours the US. Sometimes, listeners need solid appetizers to whet the appetite until the main course is ready. The Fvck and Love EP does just that in the matter of a few songs.

Notwithstanding, this EP showcases what makes her amazing: her range of singing ability with her full blown mature sexuality demonstrated in addictive musical notes.

Let us pay full attention to the track list and understand what I am talking about. “So Good” has her taking her notes to higher octaves to demonstrate how the sex she is receiving is of immeasurability. Meanwhile, “69” gets into her favorite “number/position”. “Come” is just about that: reaching the climax within ones feelings and, of course, their body. Just like that, the sexuality ensues and continues.

Mostly, this aptly applied sensuousness continues at other points on the EP. “Take It” is aggressively titled to confirm the actions she wants her lover to perform. “Seduction” is an interlude that could have been extended into a longer piece of work. “Friends and Lovers” ends off the album on a more loving note. Of all the six songs, there is mainly one song that isn’t sexual in nature.

In short, Fvck and Love is mostly about sex. Yet, that subject matter does not sully the beauty in which Marsha created. This is a great token EP to make love to your significant other to. With enough raunch to get the party started, it fulfills the desires of the carnal being. Still, the music is impressive enough to be worth listening to on repeat. Even when her music is highly sexual and used as an appetizer, Marsha Ambrosius seems to catch less losses than Parker Lewis.
