Wright, Jr. to help create simple solutions to the everyday, and sometimes complex, issues of fashion. On Friday, April 4th, KleanCollar, Inc hosted their “Black Ties & KleanCollars” Charity Awards Gala AND Charity Concert at Mason Murer Fine Art Gallery in Atlanta. The event served as an opportunity to commemorate the life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, on the 46th Anniversary of his assasination. Many civil leaders and local socialites were in attendance to honor the civil rights leader and raise funds for future programs of the KLWJ Foundation. AND Ms. Xernona Clayton, Civil Rights Activist and Founder of the Trumpet Awards Here are a few photos from the event: Hence the name, the clothing line’s signature product “KleanCollar” was invented to prevent the unsightly “dirt ring” from forming around the collar, lapels and tie bars. The KLWJ Foundation, serves as the philanthropic efforts of KleanCollar, Inc., and exists to serve the community in seven areas that they reference as the F.R.A.M.E.work™ to our foundation which include: Faith, Fashion, Recreation (Sports), Academics/Arts, Media, Entertainment and Entrepreneurship. Focusing on these pillars, the organization assist young people from all walks of life and backgrounds between the ages of 10-23 matriculate throughout middle school and on to college providing them with educational, financial and academic resources that they, would not typically have access to. The ultimate goal through the KLWJ Foundation is to help the youth acquire the necessary skills and assets needed to become positive and successful professionals and to help them to make the right decisions in life.
