After surfing the web and doing some reading earlier today, I came across a very disturbing tittle. Honestly, it wasn’t so much the article but the headline that read “We Bet The Gays Are Happy, But Why Are People NOT Talking About This HIV Prevention Pill?” The Bossip article talked about a gay couple who happen to be in a committed relationship for several years. However, one of the partners was living with HIV. I think it’s important that the publication promotes the HIV prevention pill but in a more tactful way that doesn’t offend. Many people are living with this disease or have relatives or friends with it. And regardless if they are gay or straight, this is not a subject to make fun of.
