MIXTAPE: @DreezyDreezy – Schizo

The windy city has birthed some awesome talent in the past few years. And although there are recognizable guys like Cap 1, Chief Keef, Lil Durk, Chance The Rapper, Lil Bibby, there are a group of female emcees who are making a powerful impact on the rap game as well. But one femcee in particular caught our ear and is apparently buzzing in everyone’s ear too. This rapper is Dreezy.

If you haven’t heard her music before, you may want to spend the next 24 hours to catch up. At just 20 years old, Dreezy has put in work with a couple mixtape projects and feature placements. After listening to Dreezy’s “Chiraq” Remix, which dropped shortly after Nicki Minaj’s version, we can truly say that she has the lyrical ability to hold her on.

Bottom line is that she murked the “Chiraq” Remix and rap enthusiasts everywhere was listening.

Fellow Chicago-native Common gave her props via Twitter and singer Elle Varner did as well. When you get seasoned artists to start co-signing you, you can rest assure that you’re next up.

Dreezy is the type of female rapper who spits with a perfect balance of hardcore and delicacy. Her latest project Schizo could easily be an album. Its content show consistency and the production choices transcends across a range of sounds that shows her diversity. There are not too many underground artists that can pull this off. This is how you know Dreezy is a pure talent.

We can’t pinpoint where Dreezy will go next. But, we’ll soak up what’s she’s bringing to the game now because she’s dope.
