Whitney Houston estate in legal battle to retrieve her belongings…

Two years after the untimely death of the late great Whitey Houston, her estate is suing for what they claim belongs to them. According to court documents, the company that was contracted to sell Houston’s New Jersey home in 2013 is not playing fair.

CPMG Mendham, LLC was hired by the Houston estate to sell the home, however, has denied access to the home to remove Houston’s personal belongings. The estate stated that it has made several attempts to retrieve a baby grand piano, a jukebox, valuable paintings, home furnishings and other things.  CPMG Mendham, LLC finalized the sale of the New Jersey home in Feb 2014 but has changed the locks and chained the gates as well. The estate is requesting the immediate release of the belongings as well as damages.
