HomeFeatureSterling’s Mistress, V. Stiviano Interviews with Barbara Walters; BFF Karrine Steffans Fears for Her Safety admin Monday, May 5, 2014 Feature, Foul on the Play, Sports V. Stiviano, the personal assistant and alleged mistress of former owner of the LA Clippers, Donald Sterling, recently sat down with Barbara Walters to tell her side of the story. During this exclusive interview, Stiviano proclaimed that she did not leak the audio and that Sterling is not a racist. She says a friend she confided in leaked the tape after she told them that she may quit her job as his assistant. Someone leaked the audio, or sold the audio, or gave the audio to what I believe to be TMZ. Stiviano has been seen wearing a visor around L.A. to shield herself from paparazzi and to “mask the pain”. Stiviano told Walters that she’s had many conversations (heard in the audio) with Sterling. The racial undertones was nothing new. But, she doesn’t think he is a racist due to the kind things he’s done for minorities. “I think Mr. Sterling is from a different generation than I am. I think he was brought up to believe these things & segregation, whites and blacks,” Stiviano said. “But through his actions he’s shown that he’s not a racist. He’s shown to be a very generous and kind man.” Outside of being media’s “it” girl right now, Stiviano is being sued by Sterling’s estranged wife, Rochelle. But, this may not be the only attack on Stiviano says her best friend Karrine Steffans. Reports say that Steffans believes someone may do harm to her. I fear for her safety. I’ve gotten a lot of phone calls, a lot of them are frightening. Stiviano has asked Sterling to apologize for his racist comments. No public apologies has been made by Sterling as of yet.
