In an interesting survey conducted by David’s Bridal, many women today believe you do not have to wait on marriage to start a life with your mate. The survey revealed a few opinions that go against the traditional ways of a relationship. But, David’s Bridal has learned that soon-to-be-brides nowadays are modern thinkers who tend to live life as they see fit.

 

“While the summer may be considered a traditional time to get married, our recent ‘What’s On Brides’ Minds’ survey showed that there are several other traditions that our modern bride is willing to abandon,” said Charly Rok, Vice President of Public Relations at David’s Bridal. “But even more risque was learning that many brides and brides-to-be have a dirty little secret – who they would want for one last fling before tying the knot.” (Source: PR NewsWire)

 

So, “What’s On Brides’ Minds?”  This is the survey conducted by David’s Bridal. Check out six things most women say they will or have done before walking down the aisle:

 

  • 82% says “living together” before saying “I Do” is totally fine.
  • 56% of brides will buy a home (or real estate) with their mate before marriage.
  • 45% will open up a joint banking account before tying the knot. 
  • 38% says they don’t mind having a baby before marriage. 
  • 72% believes “having sex before marriage” is acceptable (SHOCKER!)

 

and speaking of “consummation before marriage”…

 

  • 44% of brides would “give it up” to their celebrity crush before her big day. 
  • 17% say they would sleep with their EX one last time. 
  • 5% revealed that the BEST MAN would be their pick for their last hurrah! (SHOCKER!)
